Century Club Event - Christine Pelosi

Join us* for an exclusive Century Club member reception with author and Democratic activist Christine Pelosi from 12:15pm to 2pm. Parking is free on Sundays and the event includes appetizers and a cash bar. Ms. Pelosi will speak about the importance of grass-roots Democratic Party involvement and will have her book, "Campaign Boot Camp," on hand for autographing. RSVPs are required

About Christine Pelosi:

While Christine Pelosi may be most recognized by her mother, Nancy Pelosi, Christine is the author of Campaign Boot Camp: Basic Training for Future Leaders, a book used in her leadership trainings for candidates and causes. She directs the AFSCME PEOPLE/New House PAC Congressional Candidates Boot Camp and is the interim executive director of the Young Democrats of America. Christine has served as Executive Director (1998–99) and Platform Chair (1996–present) of the California Democratic Party; Deputy City Attorney and Assistant DA for the City of San Francisco, US Department of Housing and Urban Development Special Counsel in the Clinton administration and as Chief of Staff to Congressman John F. Tierney.

As you know, the Democratic Party of Denver is run by and solely off of donations from activists and supporters like you. The Democratic Party of Denver receives no funds from the state or national parties, yet, it is our responsibility to plan and execute caucuses and our county assembly/convention for over 2000 activists, again, solely through donations by supporters. Not only are we responsible for caucuses and assemblies but we also implement and execute an aggressive get out the vote field plan to not only target Democratic voters in Denver but, this year, to also help our neighbors to take back the Colorado House of Representatives for the Democratic Party.

If you are interested in being on the host committee, please let us know. As a host committee member, you will be invited to an exclusive luncheon with Christine prior to the main event. The host committee contribution is $200 (only $100 over your membership), includes a year's Century Club membership, lunch with Christine, an autographed book and the thanks of a greatful Democratic Party. The host committeee is limited to 15 or so guests, so please let us know NOW - 1st come, 1st served.
