Post Reapportionment ReOrg (Mini ReOrg)

Based upon the new house district lines from reapportionment and according to our party rules, following the drawing of new district lines, we must reorganize and elect new house and senate district leadership (chairs, vice chairs and secretaries) as well as subdistrict leadership (captains and co-captains). Denver County's rules enable us to hold a "Mini-Reorganization" to ensure our strong leadership continues as we head into Caucus, Assembly and Convention, and ultimately Election Day.
This is amandatory meeting for the Denver Democratic Central Committee, but also a great opportunity to get involved and see how it all works!

2:00pm – 2:30pm: Senate District Meetings – Individual Senate Districts meet to elect District Officers and set the vacancy committee for the district.
2:45pm – 3:15pm: House District Meetings - Individual House Districts meet to elect District Officers and to set the vacancy committee for the District. The House Districts will also name representatives to various Colorado Democratic Party positions (State Executive Committee (and alternates), State Central Committee (and alternates), and State Platform).
3:30pm – 4:30pm: Subdistrict Meetings – Individual House Subdistricts meet to elect Subdistrict Officers (Captains and Co-Captains), appoint Finance Chairs, and name representatives to Denver County’s various working committees, e.g. Rules, Credentials, GOTV, Platform, Fundraising, Diversity and Outreach, Technology, PermOrg, Public Policy.
4:45pm – 5:15pm: Caucus Training for March 6, 2012
5:00pm – 6:00pm: Clean-Up
