Denver County House Districts
The Democratic Party of Denver represents Democratic voters within the City and County of Denver. The party's organizational structure is based upon the nine (9) State House Districts (HDs 1-9) that are within or intersect the boundary of Denver County.
Each House District is divided into 2 sub-districts, Sub-Districts A and B. The Democratic party has elected officers for each HD and each Sub-District.
Denver is further divided into 426 precincts. Each precinct has 2 precinct committee people (PCP) who are elected every two years at the party caucus. PCPs are expected to attend monthly meetings in their own house sub-district, and are also a part of the Denver Democratic Central Committee. The DDCC meets normally twice a year, and ALL members, including PCPs, are required to attend.
